Pregnancy Captured {Maternity Photographers in Kensington & Chelsea, London}

One of the joys of being a photographer is capturing the special times in a person's life. Pregnancy is just one of those times, and it was a real pleasure to document it for this beautiful mother-to-be. 

I approach my maternity photo-shoots in the same relaxed manner as my sessions with young families. I shoot either in the family home or outdoors in natural settings using only soft, natural light. For this session the weather kindly allowed us both - well, for a time, before the heavens opened. 

We started our photo-shoot at home in London's bustling Knightsbridge before heading to a little secret park just a stone's throw from the world-famous Harrods department store. That's one of the great things about this city of ours - there is always somewhere green and peaceful to be found.

A few weeks later, I went back to meet the family again with their new arrival - a beautiful little boy. These photographs capture how much he is loved - even before he made it into the world.
