Yesterday we went on an adventure - overland and underground - to the amazing Discover Children's Story Centre in Stratford, East London. It really is a magical place for children and their families to enjoy playing, learning and making up stories together. Being huge fans of Oliver Jeffers' stories and illustrations, we were both very excited to see the Once There Was... The Wonderful World of Oliver Jeffers exhibition, which features scenes from some of his best loved books including Lost and Found and How to Catch a Star. There were so many large, and small, details to capture the children's imaginations, and our special guide from the Lost and Found Department brought the story to life for everyone. We also went to an interactive reading of Jeffers' The Great Paper Caper, a copy of which found its way home with us. Here are a few snaps from our adventures...
