Frozen Birthday Party {Children's photographers in London}

At the weekend we celebrated my little one's 5th birthday with the help of many friends and family and a little Frozen magic! I had lots of fun planning the party - inspired by so many great ideas on Pinterest. Of course a Frozen party wouldn't have been complete without one of the characters and Elsa was at the top of the invite list! Thank you to the amazing Sarah at Toadstool Parties for entertaining all the children - big and small!

I tried to do as much baking as my skills would allow and Vaani at Sugar Plum Bakes helped with the cute Olaf cake pops. They went down a treat! For party bags, cute paper plates and cup cake cups I headed to the Pretty Little Party Shop.

Sibling Love {Teddington Family Photographers}

What a joy it is to meet a family that you just 'click with' - no pun intended! I've had the pleasure of documenting the childhood of this lovely brother and sister a lot over the past 3 years, and they have been the perfect models every time! Here's the link to my first session with them back in 2011 - how they have grown! We headed back to the same spot for our latest shoot together and were blessed with the most beautiful early morning light. I'm so pleased that I managed to persuade mummy and daddy to take part in the session too - I just love these magical images - family memories to treasure forever.

Sleeping Beauty {Newborn photography in St Margarets, Richmond upon Thames}

It is such a joy and honour to be asked into the home of a family to capture the most special moments of their lives. To be asked back year after year is a real treat and this shoot was the fourth that I have had with this warm, loving family. I have to admit, the call came as a surprise - a third addition, another girl! Like her sisters before her, she is beautiful and calm - sleeping through most of the morning, waking only to feed. Two magical fairies didn't even stir her from her sweet slumber.

Mayfield Lavender Family Photo Shoot {Surrey Photographers}

My last few blog posts have featured some pretty awesome locations but this place has to be up there as being one of the most beautiful. I took some personal photographs of my own little girl at this lavender farm last year, and so many of my clients comment on them. It always comes as a surprise to hear that they were taken not in France, but at Mayfield Lavender in Banstead, Surrey - just 20 miles from central London.

Having such a diverse range of stunning locations on my doorstep, makes my job all the more enjoyable. But spending time with the families I photograph, is what makes this the best job in the world. I was really honoured to spend the morning with these two lovely sisters and we had so much fun playing fairies amongst the rows of lavender. Here are just a few of my favourites from our photo shoot together.
