On Saturday I was lucky enough to photograph beautiful Venetia for the second time in a month. Her mum was very keen to have photos taken of their gorgeous vintage silvercross pram but on the day of the first shoot the rain was so bad we had to stay indoors. I agreed to come back though and I'm glad I did! We had lots of fun in the garden and Snoopy, Venetia's dog, kept us all on our feet. For more visit my facebook page.

Yes I'm biased, but I cannot get enough of Molly's baby blue eyes. Here's a photo from today, taken while we were playing in the lounge. She lay still for just a few moments; captivated by the leaves on a tree outside rustling in the wind. Half a minute later she was rolling around, giggling again. 
Unfortunately my hamper hasn't seen too many picnics of late, so I thought I'd dust it off and use it as a photo prop instead! 
I've been a mum for almost 10 months, wow! To celebrate (my survival), I've put together a collection of some of my fave pics from the last 270-ish days . It was hard to choose, in fact I could probably make a few more of these. Now I know what to do while she's napping tomorrow, the cleaning will have to take care of itself, again ;)

I'm afraid we have been a bit slack on the blog front of late. You see we've been very, very busy: clapping, waving and high five-ing. Not much on the crawling side-of-things yet, but it won't be too long now so we've had lots of tummy-time practice. Oh, and we've grown 2 teeth too.
Just a little over 8 months ago my life changed forever when little Molly was born 4 weeks early. During her short life I have watched her grow from a small 5lb baby into the beginnings of a little girl who, like her daddy, thinks mainly of her next meal and will eat pretty much anything (even olives!!). She's experienced a lot already: a glorious autumn, snowy winter, the beauty of spring blossoms and now a lovely, balmy summer. I think this photo, taken while picnicking in Marble Hill, hints a little at the future Molly, I'm so excited to be part of her life and so proud she is my little girl.
We've just spent a week in Provence with some friends and their family. It was our first with children so there was plenty of entertainment for the adults. Little Macie pictured above is only 2 years but she already has big and gorgeous personality. Whenever she appeared she would proclaim 'Here I am!' - as if we could forget her!
I spent a lovely afternoon in the sun photographing this cheeky chappie. J has just turned one and has been walking for two weeks now. He's a bit wobbly on his feet but his little legs carry him so far its hard to keep up! For more images visit my website.
My friend Lucy from Devon has lots of lovely little friends including Little Errol who she makes herself from reclaimed woollen blankets. Although he and his companion Squeaky Beryl are not suitable for young children (apparently he likes to chew on them), Lucy has designed these lovely birth announcement cards featuring the two characters. There are dozens of similar cards and gifts on her website, including an enamel pin version of Little Errol (M has one attached to her buggy which we found in Heirloom on Crown Road, St Margarets).
We spent a lovely day yesterday in Marble Hill park sitting underneath a tree. The twins, R and H, were a picture in their pretty summer dresses and although they have both started rolling I managed to get them to lie still for a few moments while I snapped away. For more images visit my website.
As you may have noticed from my logo I quite like little birdies, so when I saw these cute measuring cups in John Lewis I had to add them to my birthday wish list ;) The pretty pastel colours would go perfectly in my kitchen. All I need to do now is to learn how to bake.

I know summer is on its way but I saw this on Etsy and just had to share! Handmade by Citéfuzz in Canada, I love Mini Monkey's soft crocheted ears and the vintage inspired flower. M will definitely be sporting this cute little number come autumn ;)
Babies' feet have always made me melt. This miniature foot, with its perfect little toes, belongs to my own little baby so its effect is especially potent. Nestling between her daddy's, it looks so tiny but tells of such promise. What an exciting journey we'll all take together. For more images visit my website.
Babies are cute, but there's nothing cuter than a baby in a basket. The soft tones were inspired by all things nice; pretty floral bunting and sweet shop pastels - yum! Not as sweet as the adorable model though ;) Photographed at home, beneath our beautiful and huge Victorian bay window which spills natural light into our living room.
