Bushy Park in Teddington is beautiful reagrdless of the season but in April it is full of colour thanks to cherry blossom trees and beautiful spring flowers. In the morning, before my session with Lilly we had gorgeous sunshine and, although showers were forecast, we didn't expect a torrential downpour that would give our session more of a "jumping in muddy puddes' theme the pretty bluebell wood shots we had been planning since January!
I think Peppa Pig has met her match when it comes to puddle jumping. Little Lilly loved the puddles - and couldn't have been happier splashing in them - (probably a bit too much especially as she had a leaky wellie!)
After even more rain we decided that she was probably better off at home were it was warm and dry so we arranged to finish the session on another day, when the weather was better. Here are a few of the photographs from our time together in the rain - I look forward to posting the rest very soon!
