Spring is on its way {Family photographers in Teddington}

Yes it really is! Despite the snow and ice I've seen the green tips of tulips and daffodils peeking up through the earth. I am so excited, spring is one of my favourite times of the year. I love the prospect photographing children among the daffs, tree blossom and bluebells.

Here are some of my favourites from a shoot last spring in Bushy Park, Teddington. It was the second time I've photographed this beautiful little lady - our first session together got rained off! This time we were so lucky with the weather and I even got the chance to photograph some of the local wildlife!

{Happy snow day!} Family photographers in West London

I couldn't resist heading to the Bushy Park this morning, sledge and camera in hand, to capture M playing in the snow. Grandma and grandad were also with us, so we took the opportunity to get some mummy and daughter shots too - a very rare thing when I'm always the one behind the camera!

{Back to the summer} Family photography in West London

I cannot believe how lucky we were on the day of this shoot - it's probably because we were so unbelievably unlucky the other two times we tried to schedule the session. The first date we had the reschedule due to torrential rain, the second due to, yes - you've guessed it, torrential rain! Eventually we were blessed with a gorgeous summer's day and everything fell into place.

We had so much fun playing in Richmond Park's Isabella Plantation and little A was quite a natural in front of the camera. It was great to capture Mother and Daughter together - and I'm sure these photographs capture memories that will live long for them both.
